I earned my PhD in Counseling Psychology from Washington State University (WSU), an academic program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA) in 2011.  Prior to starting my own practice in McKinney, I spent several years as a clinician in university settings, where I provided individual, couples, and group counseling; assessment; consultation; and outreach services to college students in counseling centers at three university campuses ( Washington State University, Eastern Washington University, and the University of Iowa).  In addition, I spent three years providing clinical services to clients ranging in age from 13 years to retirement age and beyond at the Great Life Counseling Center, a group private practice in Addison, TX.
